“We are excited to bring a lot of fresh, new faces to perform at Home County 2016,” says Artistic Director, Darin Addison. “We are also welcoming back and number of festival favourites this year. As always, local music is well represented at Home County.”

Other acts making their festival debut include Elliott Brood, Fortunate Ones, and Great Big Sea founding member Séan McCann. Sweet Alibi, The Kramdens, David Francey, and The Ennis Sisters make their return to Home County.

Home County is a longtime supporter of local music and this year is no different. Taylor Holden will open the festival on Friday night at 6:00 p.m. with a full band. Broomsticks & Hammers kick off the Saturday evening lineup. Other local acts include Scallywag, Twin.Fin, and Mountain of Wolves.

The full lineup was announced tonight with a special event at the London Music Club that featured live performances by Taylor Holden and bilingual duo Georgian Bay.
